Special Olympics/Para-Canoeing

PCKC is proud to introduce another year of our program aimed at providing Special Olympics athletes and Para-Athletes the opportunity to learn the sport of canoe/kayak and represent Peterborough, Ontario at paddling events across Canada. This program will help support our clubs mission of being inclusive to all members of our community.

Those who join this program will learn the basics of a variety of paddling sports and gain confidence on the water. As paddlers progress there will be opportunities to race at regional regattas against other Special Olympics athletes.
